Has anyone had any experiences (good or bad) with this stables, and especially the clinics they run? Wispering Back

I'm not a NH devotee but have been to a Monty Roberts demo which was very interesting (a bit 'American' in presentation style, but then he is American, and the content is what matters). I've also subsequently read a Kelly Marks book and had a go at some of the groundwork exercises in there.

I'm just thinking about doing something a bit different to 'kick start' me and my new boy a bit going into winter.

I had Adam Goodfellow out to help me get my old horse on the trailer a few years back. Everyone and his dog had tried to get this horse on the trailer, and failed. So in desperation I turned to NH. He got him on and taught me how to get him on and he always went on after that. So for me it was well worth it. He's a very experienced horsemen (if you can get your hands on a copy of his, co written by his wife, book then do. It had me in tears!) I've not had any experience with the clinics although nearly did go on one after he came out to me but never got around to it.
So from me personally if I had the opportunity to go on one of the course I would.

Adam and Nicole are absolutely lovely. I had Adam out to help with a mare I used to own (and I am far from an IH advocate) and he was great. I bumped into him recently and he was just as nice. I have never been on their clinics, but as people they are both delightful. They are very pro-barefoot and using Equine Podiatrists trained in the KC la Pierre method, but equally they were very good about introducing me to people and letting me come and meet and chat to their trimmer - I made my own mind up on the issue, but they were nothing if not open about it all.
