Nfu do they pay for mri scans x-rays livery whilst at vets and travelling?
and the same questions for these compaines aswell KBIS Pet plan? Thanks!

NFU are fantastic. My lad went to Newmarket for tests on a back problem when he was only 4yrs, he was there for 3 days & NFU paid for everything. He didn't end up having MRI but if it had been agreed with them beforehand I believe they would have paid for it, or the majority of it anyway.
Also our lorry broke down when I was supposed to be collecting him & they paid transport fees to get him home too.

oh well, the next time i have a complete witch, i'll know where to go...!

Nfu pay 50 % Mri ,xrays, do pay transport and I believe 50% livery costs

Petplan Full cost of MRI, xrays, 50% livery no transport costs.

Kbis I dont know about

Just what I was thinking, have Friday high jinx!

Taking it seriously, KBIS once they were satisfied that the MRI requirement did not relate to exclusions on the policy paid for it in full and 2 days after receipt of the invoice, can't recommond them highly enough!

NFu will nly pay out on transport if you use a defra approved transporter and they have to meet certain guidelines. Having said that they are an amazing company to deal with and have settled my claims really quickly.

I'm insured with Equstrian Direct and they have always been brilliant. Sunny was hospitalised 3 times when we were trying to save his eye, and it was then I discovered that they don't reimburse for "livery" costs, and I can see the reasoning for that. Ask your vet to break the "livery" part of the bill into "hotel" costs and "nursing" costs - ED then happily paid the nursing part while I picked up the hotel (livery) part.

Glad some of you others thought the witch insurance was funny too, can Shils be insured, she's not really a wtch is she??
