Slinky - thanks for the link - it looks lovely, but a bit too far for me. Im J18 of M1, so anything within that area ish would be good. Also looking at brampton Stables Nr Northampton
We train for university there. Definately recommended for dressage. Depending on experience I would ask for Verity (the owner) for dressage as she is very knowledgeable.
They also have some very good quality dressage horses. See the link below
Its definitely one of the better riding schools in the area - i've been an watched my friend ride there a couple of times and joined her for a lesson once - they are a good riding school - and seem to quickley pick up if you are a competant rider and ask a bit more of you - worth a try. I havent ridden there regularly since it changed hands many years ago.
I spent all my time riding at South Leicestershire Riding Establishment in Leire (its Kenneth Clawson's yard). i couldnt recomend them enough - however only if you know how to ride (no beginners/ total novices) all the horses are ex-eventers, i even had lessons with Oliver Townend when he was based there. I bought my first horse from them too.
quiet hack - was that when pandora witham Villa? - i rode there about 23 years ago!
Ther are loads round there, I'm junc 20 of the M1, so am in the same area as you. Witham are good, have nice horses and reputable instructors. However there is also High Cross Equestrian Centre which is just up the A5 near Claybrook which is also very good, with very nice facilities.
