Withdrawal period for bute before blood test

As title really ... meant to be competing a catch ride on Wednesday but the owners groom gave it a sachet of bute on the Wednesday just gone for a very minor stone bruise without asking the owner! I can't remember if it's 7 or 10 days before a blood test would come back clear.

That's because it's nomally ststed as 7 - 10 days due to individual variation in clearance rates.

If it was just 1 sachet 7 days before I would think you will fine (unless it's the Olympics!)

i would think that 1 sachet 7 days ago would be fine , but if you are really concerned i wouldn't compete
