I’m looking for a new saddle for my lad as he’s lost weight now and his fixed tree saddle no longer fits. Finally the IR pony is getting rid of the fat deposits!! Not all but enough to warrant a saddle change.
I’ve posted some pics as deciding if he’s going to be better in the cob version of thorowgood. My saddlers happy to come out for fitting but only stocks very expensive saddles and Sparky’s just a happy hacker and not prepared to spend £800- £1000. The thorowgood t4/t5 is a good option for him and think the cob maybe better for his profile.
I have a standard wither Kent and masters for my other lad fully adjustable and love it. Excuse the muddy pony!
