Without my horse......................

I'd probably be in the depths of depression - sounds a bit OTT, but my horses have really helped me get over post natal depression and grieving for my brother who died in Afghanistan. There is something amazingly soothing about horses :)

Saying that, I'd also be living in a bigger houses, wearing designer clothes and driving a posh car if I didn't have them to pay for! All material though, so happily go without for them.
 
Ummmm not quite sure what to say to that. Does not sound like you are having the best time of it!

Without my (share) horse i would have 2 evenings a week free! :)
 
Without my horse in my life..............I would actually be financially ok! I'd get a mortgage after saving. And would probably buy myself some decent clothes, have my hair done more often and nails and just generally look better! Also might go back to partying with friends! (Can't afford that these days and also can't afford a day in bed hung over!)

BUT

If it wasn't for my horse.................I would probably get very bored, not know what to do with my time and miss him like mad!!
 
i would probably have a lot more time so thinking i would probably be a lot smarter.... thats only if i work in that time i would be depressed moody aggresive and a couch potato!!! thank god for ponios hey!!
 
I currently don't have a horse (the 2 I own are on full loan in lifelong homes) and although I am very happy and lucky in my life I do miss it so desperately I almost grieve for it.
Oh and i'm fatter!
 
I sold my horse last november, as I was going through a very bad time and I didn't want him to suffer for it. He now has a lovely new home and I nearly died. After 6 months I am only just coming out the other side and am making preparations to sort my life out so I can be a responsible owner for my new horse.

Mouse was there for me at a time when I felt I had nothing else left to live for and after he went things went downhill for me so fast. Right now, I cannot wait to bring my new horse home (if I ever find one :rolleyes: ) because I miss it so much.

I would have far more time and money (time would rapidly be filled up with other stuff as I can't bear to not be busy) and far less sanity - bought my mare in October at the same time as starting a new role, and she's kept me sane throughout the huge levels of stress! Might be time consuming and costly but she's worth it!

Without you horse in your life I would have more holidays and time to myself but be a miserable fat bag. I would spend more on photography so would proably still have no money.
 
If I didn't have my pony I would be a lot richer, but would also have a daughter that would be hanging about the town being a nuisance like her non-horsey friends do now!! So I'm very happy being skint
 
Without my horses I would be lost - they fill my heart when they greet me with a neigh and come cantering over for some attention.
Without my horses I would not have the fun of plaiting up and taking them to shows and meeting up with friends for a chat.

Without my horses my mortgage would have been paid off I would have decent clothes and shoes and would be bored stiff!
 
Without my horse..
I would be living in London, probably pregnant. I'd have manicures and facials and tons of designer clothes and bags. I would probably go on holiday a lot/ possibly spend a large portion of the year abroad living life.

If it wasn't for my horse...
I would definitley be a stone heavier! Also despite the above things I'm not sure I would be happy, I would miss the challenges, the highs and the lows! I wouldn't have dreams or something to work towards. I wouldn't appreciate the simple things as much, like an early morning hack with the dew still on the grass. I don't think I would 'feel' as much, the sensation of rain on my face walking across a windswept field. I wouldn't get adrenaline from pushing myself to do things that scare me, I wouldn't have the unspoken partnership I share with my horse.
Life would be a lot more empty.
 
Without a horse, I would just be a golf widow, but I'd probably have persuaded husband to let me have a dog instead. Oh and we'd actually have holidays like all his golfing friends aparently do!
 
My lot , horses , dogs , pets etc are my babies as i have no kids , They teach humility , kindness and patience , sadly a lot of what is lacking in the human race. I wouldn't be without all the mucking out , pooh picking , and all the other shitty jobs , i love the whole package.
 
I would be fatter. I would say that I woudl be richer but I feel I would just spend my money elsewhere! I wouldn;t live in the country but in a city with nicer cloths and a flat instead of a country cottage!! I would go out!!

I would get home from work in a bad mood because I haven't had my de-stress time with the horses.

I would either be unemplyed or have a crap job!! I have worked very hard to improve in this department so that i can afford to buy a house AND keep the horses!!
 
My horses cheer me up when im down, make me smile, even welcome me when i have no money, tired , grumpy! Without them i would be better dressed, fatter, spend the money on other things and be unhealthier!!
After a hard days work they always make me feel better even when i have tons of poo to muck out
 
I don't have my horse (PTS in December) and I'm bored out of my mind and have no idea what to do with all my newfound free time. It's tedious and miserable and I hate it.
