4 yr old had her first dental visit today.
She has 2 wolf teeth and after talking to EDT, we have opted for having them extracted.

Can anyone tell me what this entails?
Has it caused any issues for anyone?
How much does it cost? (I'm going to phone vet tomorrow for sedation and see if they're own EDT is happy to extract them).

Thanks

My last lad had his removed by our vet. It was about 3 years ago and as far as i can remember it was only about £40 for removal and sedation. I rode him about a week after and he was fine, no ill effects etc. My current 4yr hasnt got any yet so i dont know if the pricing has changed :)

That's brill thanks :) Hopefully I'm not too far out, I was thinking about £150 max for both of them out.
She's not backed yet so that's fine. Will give her a week after and then start bitting her. :)

Appreciate knowing your experience.

My boy had one of his out (the other hasn't come through fully yet at 6 years old!!) cost me about £45. Doesn't take too long. I was advised to give him 14 days off and after his 2 weeks off to ride for a month in a rubber bit
