Woman Takes Horse Into Macdonalds

TBH even I might not be too happy if a horse pooed in front of me (no doubt a smelly runny stress poo too) while I was eating my dinner!

But I'm not too clear what the problem about serving her outside in the drive through part was? Well, narrow escape for her from an unhealthy dinner ;)

"On 20 July a woman allowed her pony to enter our restaurant in Whitefield after being refused service in the drive-thru lane."

Allowed her pony? I now have a mental image of a rider being dragged into McD's by a pony eager for its McFlurry...

This is just down the road from where Dans family are :-)

It does make me laugh...our local McDonalds is used to this...loads of riders around here use their drivethru on horseback and nobody bats an eyelid.

Ridiculous not to serve her in the drive-thru. Good for her......showed 'em by taking it into the restaurant. Dogs are not banned....or are they? They should put up a notice in every McDonald banning horses hehehehe!!!

In Florida, they actually do have some special ride-thrus for horses. Also have lovely all weather corals, complete with tie-ups and trough. Very impressive!!

Some 'jobsworth' at work here methinks. Presumaby, had she been driving her pony, then that would have been OK?

It was a stupid act of defiance to take the pony inside the "restaurant" but it was more stupid that McDonalds refused to serve her in the drive through.

Only yesterday me and my bloke were out riding our motorcycles and went to the drive through to get a nice cool Coke and they wouldn't serve us. They said that motorcycles were not heavy enough to alert them that a customer was there and we were then given a right dressing down by a TEENAGER telling us that we should know you don't drive a motorbike you ride one and that it's a drive through not a ride though... utter tosh as we've done it at a different McDonalds before. Strangely we went to KFC and got a drive/ride through on our bikes just fine, maybe they had gained some weight in that short mile trip!
