Women on the Horse and Hound forum.

The mistakes that you've made P_R, are that you've overlooked the fact that they're only women, and you've made the mistake of taking them seriously. ;)

Alec.

I know exactly who Lady Maud is - and I'm very glad to say that I look nothing like her :D Although it has been said that when I get really mad about something there is a more than passing resemblance!!!!

In fact I don't even look like a bosomy, tweed type either, but there could be a passing resemblance to something from Thelwell on occasion. I would hope to be more of the neat and tidy riders that sometimes made an appearance, but to be a realist most likely a scrufty little bouncing person!!!!

LMAO Alec :D Good point.

P_R, do you really care? I, unfortunately, have no mental image of you at all, unless that is you in your avatar ;)

ps. I obviously have terminal sense of humour failure as I found the Tom Sharpe books most unamusing. :(

I imagine some members on here being the stereotypical old school riding ma'am, ample bosom upholstered in tweed, shining black boots which she repeatedly whacks with a vicious looking whip, hairnet firmly ensconced on head at all tines & booming voice :D

That's me! ...except the boots are not so shiny!
