Still fairly new to mare's  well, Lyla has been with me since April 1st last year

And I can honestly say, sometimes I understand what men go through with us!

La can be so cute, cuddly, friendly, willing, adorable :) And La can also be a mare

There is 'obviously' a problem, I've upset/offended her in some way or other unbeknown to me. Try and ask what the issue is, La's (huffy) response "Nothing. I'm fine":p

A couple of weeks ago, she did a sharp spook and I fell off :o She had the grump with me for three days after (how VERY dare I fall off when she's trying to save us from the killer pheasant?!)

She's not a marish mare, hardly ever tell when she's in season (although normally obvious when she doesn't try and kill the gelding next door )

I'd just like to what what I've done wrong :o:confused::rolleyes:

Bless her having to put up with stupid mother :o

Yep - that's mares for you, which is why I love mine so much :) The old saying " Tell a gelding, ask a mare and discuss things with a stallion" is so true. In my mare's case, I have to ask nicely and she'll do anything for me - bless her. Try and "tell her" and there is just no way!
