I'm a product fiend & really enjoying spending money i don't have on things for my horsie but some have been great and some have been utter whack.

What're your fav horse "things"?

Mine -
Professional Choice SMB Elites - bought them after being recommended on here. Fantastic boots, well worth the money. Great fit!

Bartl sheepskin half pad - has really helped stop my mare with a tendancy to being cold backed from putting in a buck when she gets a fright

Orvus paste - really gets horses white!

Baby oil - Repels dirt & keeps Stella looking like a superstar

Cornucresine - Horn AND hair regrowth & smells really yummy in an old fashioned way

Stubben running martingale - The neckstrap is gorgeously thin so doesn't look obtrusive like most martingales on greys do. This sounds stupid but it's important to me!

Weatherbeeta X-lite Jasper Combo stable rug - super deep, generous cut & stays in place unlike a Masta i bought for the same price which was the same weight and slipped and rubbed all over the place!

What about you?

learnt about tail rakes on hho, great for the pulled tail look.got mine for about £6 from the pet shop.

Mark todd rugs, because they fit my hippo-pony.

Dodson & Horrell Equibites - they seem to have done Murphy the world of good.

Sudocrem - for wounds, and for my cracked hands!!

My joules dakota coat - because it has different layers, always washes really well and it's bright PINK!!

Cactus cloth mitt for getting mud off a clipped out coat.

Muck Boot Company boots - the comfiest footwear I've ever worn, and I've worn them every day for a year, and apart form the dirt they're as good as new.

A woman after my own heart...

Also, Tubtrugs for feed. Brilliant. Can cope with being played with! Does anyone still use buckets/solid mangers?

Thermatex leg wraps.
Dermisol cream
Muckboot riding boots
Snuggy hoods
Bentex breeches
Any rug from Fal, Premier Equine a good substitute
Coat King coat stripper

Absorbine coat spray - I use it once or twice a week in Gov's tail and it never tangles. One bottle lasts me about 5 months.

Eskadron Climatex underbandages - no more hot puffy legs.

Hairspray - This is really quite bad but I use it on my show boots to get a mega shine. Have used it on tack too but you really MUST wash/clean it off after or it'll ruin tack.

Iodine spray- gets chucked on all small cuts etc (having ponies they seem oblivous to sharp things!)

Wonder gel - fantastic from anything that my scar, keeps the wound moist

sportabac turnout boots - kept my boys mud fever at bay brilliantly!

my shires rug collection - God i love those rugs!!! and there so cheap for the quality!

Grannys soap flakes, tescos value shampoo, and equine blue all keep a very dirty grey horse clean! and it not expensive!

Mark todd hair detangler. better than any others i have tried.

Cheap Shires bridle. Fantastic for the £25 i paid for it.

Cotswold Sports breastplate/martingale. Very cheap and very good.

Two "protuff" horse rugs I bought off ebay. Including neck £30 each, and havent been shredded by rug wrecker yet.
