I do not think she is saying anything very interesting. Many people in Holland do not like the rolkur either and just because this method has produced one champion does not make it right. For all methods of training there is always one that is a success but what about all the others hurt or ruined by the same? For me, Totilas is very beautiful and makes the collection look easy but it is not only the Germans who can see that actually he is not classically correct. Often he is behing the vertical, his walk is not true and the extended paces are not the same qualitiy as the collected.
I thought that was a brilliant article, and I'm wondering now if Totilas will be re-trained in a more classical way?
Certainly food for thought anyway.
