My friend took me for a hack round the woods in our area today, you could go for miiiiilllllleeeessss!

We just went out for an hour though
She hacked to my field to pick me up and patiently waited for me to get my butt in gear (I got distracted... oops!
) hopped on my boy and off we went.
Her horse stopped a couple of paces later (she's a bit nappy) so Loki happily took the lead! It's our first time hacking round the area but he was so brave and had his ears pinned forward all the way, he made me so proud!
It was quite funny being steered by my friend behind me and I had to keep cutting in to the conversation to find out what way to go ha ha! But we were in the lead for the majority of the hack and he was a superstar the whole way
Loki was feeling quite ready for a good blast but because he's so unfit just now we kept the pace pretty sedate for the most part but we had a few trots and two canters that were great fun for all of us and Loki was very responsive when I asked him to slow down again, he's such a good boy!
What made me laugh though was every time we came across horses (lots of horses around here) he called to them, it was so funny and very cute silly monkey! Then when we arrived at my friends field we left her and made our way solo back to our field, the sun was shining and his shadow was massive when we got out of the trees, we pootled along happily for a few minutes till he realised something was following him, looked down at it and completely pooped himself! Ha ha ha! It was so funny you could see him think "hmm there's a funny shape down th.... OMG WHAT THE ***** IS IT!... oh it's just my shadow, it's alright don't panic" Hee hee!

It was a great day, sunny and fun and I'm so proud of my boy... again!

Also today I reintegrated Fuzzy (for those who don't know she's my sisters pony who came back from loan last week) with Loki and Pippa and they were great together.
I did as I was advised and just opened up the electric fence gate that seperated the two paddocks like it was no big deal and just stepped away and let them sort it out.
Fuzzy made a bee line for Pippa and they had a wee groom of each other and then she went to investigate the water feeder past Loki. He was oblivious she was out till she walked passed him ha ha! So he followed her down to check out what she was doing.
Meanwhile Pippa went to check Fuzzy's paddock, noticed the others were leaving her so she jumped the electric tape from a standstill!
With heaps of scope to clear more!
It was obviously too much work to walk back to the gate and round the side

Anyway Fuzzy had a couple of rolls and was eating a pile of hay with no problems so it went really well
Sorry for the gushy essay, anyone want to share my fry up dinner?
