Are different makes of wood pellet bedding different in dust level?

I have used Aquamax which I liked, and then I used my local tackshop brand and it was so dusty in the summer and Robbie kept getting it in his eyes, so I changed to megazorb, which I love but can't afford for my 3 boys as I am getting through 8 bags a week!!

I am thinking of trying Whitehorse wood pellets does anyone use them are they dusty?

Yes, it depends on how they have been prepared. In general brands that are kiln dried are less dusty. '

I don't know Whitehorse but my personal favourite is Nature's Best for both price, quality and ease of delivery.

If Whitehorse are the ones newly launched then can I suggest you investigate other brands as they appear not to be very cost effective when you look at the weight of the bags. I pay £4 a bag for 20kg from my pellet supplier.

I use the LWP and don't find them dusty but I do make sure they are well soaked and if the bed should dry out, will give it a quick sprinkle with the hose to settle anything.

I love this bedding - put Stinky on it and use about 1 - 1/2 15k bags a week - he is in 24 x 7 3 days and out 9 - 4 the others.

Farra is on megazorb and going onto LWP when I have used it up - it is lovely bedding, but she needs two bags a week and she is out every day. Megazorb is £7.50 a bag and LWP is £3.15 and I have worked out I will save at least £200 on bedding this winter.

Ive used Nature's best, Corley Biowood & Liverpool wood pellets.

Big differance is the price & size of the bags between the above, Corley & LWP are around the same sort of price, however LWP do have deals on so you can get the pellets even cheaper.

Ive found that LWP are darker than the other 2 but i actually find them the best out of the bunch much more absorbent. Plus you can order the bags in different sizes. However i do worry about delivery with LWP but recently my order came through with a couple of days.

Thanks for the help, there seems to be so many wood pellets on the market and all different size bags and price!!

It looks like natures best and LWP are the most popular but again a hugh difference in price between them

Well I will try the dirty yearling on them again before I change the big boys and see if I can cut my hugh bedding bill down to make my hubby happy

i use corley now !!! used LWP first and the orders never came on time it was a joke and they take the money before delivering so sometimes a week before you get them !!

Corley only take the money when the order has left their depo !!! and are always on time xx
