Wood pellet bedding

Hi

I wonder if anyone can give me some help/advice. I am moving my horse to a yard where I have to buy in my own bedding and I am looking at using wood pellets. I have spoken to a company who can deliver 15kg bags for £5.00 per bag, is this good? I have no idea having never had to buy any before. I am in the Hampshire area so if anyone can recommend a company I would be very grateful.

Sounds like you've been quoted a good price. I used to be on a yard where they were £6.40/bag, and that was a while ago.

I pay £2 per bag. I get mine from a builders/firewood yard and because it's not labelled 'horse bedding' as people use it for fires it's so much cheaper even though it's exactly the same thing!

I pay £3.21 per bag for mine but I buy in bulk of 67 bags. Its with Blue Ribbon horse bedding .... there about as cheap as liverpool wood pellets but I chose them because their customer service was meant to be better !
