I have seen loads of posts lately on pellets , so thinking it may be the way foward but have a few queries on it - as costly to set up if doesnt work.
One horse is very messy mixes bedding in and is stabled a lot. Also is grey so try best to stop stains. I currently muck out in morning and leave bed up to dry. (He is bedded on shavings and rubber mats)
Other horse has stable that slops backwards, so lots of wet gathers in the back so line with shavings and clear daily and again leave bed up to dry. This horse is bedded on straw with rubber mats and is a box walker - creates a track round her box.
So as i have rubber mats am worried about not lifting bed daily - smell, drainage and ruining mats with the wet sitting on it
Secondly with the box walker would she just turn it up- would it work - assuming would need to sit like a deep litter bed.

What would be best make? and do you just skip out every day and clear at weekend.

Sorry for all questions :) any help would be appreciated. Thanks
