Am i the only one who dose this? feel like i should try taking the wet out once or twice a week? How do you stop your self taking the wet out?

I do. I bought a pallet of wood pellets having read rave reviews about them but I hate them :-(
One of my horses isn't too bad on them, but the other digs up her wet and rolls so the entire bed is wet if I don't remove it daily. Bed is horrible and smelly. Not sure what I'm doing wrong or if it jut doesn't suit this type of messy horse but I'm going back to shavings as soon as I can!

I like it i think! But if my old boy could be on straw i think id go back to that. I loved cardboard and paper to, shavings just cost to much in the end. I also like the small storage space they take up so my big boys are on them with the foal on straw space storage wise it works a treat x

Montmorency- Try and put shavings on top. I put straw pellets under shavings and it's the most amazing bed ever. Only use half a bag of pellets and half a bag of shavings per horse per week, including two that are in 24/7 and five that are in 18 hours.

I muck my wood pellet bed out daily, actually twice daily, I have one in at night, one during the day. Takes no time at all, I don't mind doing it. However, I don't get on at all with the cheapie wood pellets, there are only 2 brands that I can get on with and so only buy them. I have found the cheaper pellets are variable quality and can have a tendency to turn to mush overnight, it is almost like they disappear...

Me too! Loving it. My horse has a nice looking deep bed that never smells. I used to need 3 bales of shavings a week to achieve this but now I use a bag of pellets and a half bale of shavings.
