Wood Pellet Virgin!!...........How much water???

i would say 7 for a full bed
i put them in a wheelbarrow and add boiling water on them-2 kettlesful per bag.then it swells really quick and mostof the water then evaporates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
my stable is 12 x 10 and i put 2 bags in and it covers half the stable! i would start with 4 bags but put 2 in spread them out and water them, they take a lot more water than you think they will, then when they have activated put two more in and activate them. I put 2 bags in on thursday last week and i'm still finding clusters of untouched pellets! The way i do it is to empty the bags ,spread them out and give them a good blast with the hose (on spray setting ) leave them for 10 mins then turn them all over with a fork and water where there are still lots of pellets, leave again for a few mins then turn the bed over again with a fork.
