I'm still experimenting with bedding having put down rubber mats for the first time (see my earlier post). I found that my existing Equisorb isn't absorbent enough, so bought a couple of bags of Aquamax pellets (13.5kg bags for about £6 each). I've put them down as a base where he stales, watered as instructed and then put Equisorb over the top. So far I'm pleased with the results, so I'm thinking that once I've run out of Equisorb I might go on to wood pellets. I've read good reports on here about Liverpool Wood Pellets, but from the website it looks like they're about £10 for 10kg. I also spotted an advert in H&H for White Horse Bedding pellets which are between £3.25 and £4.50 for 10k depending on how many you order. Does anyone know if there is any difference between these three brands as there seems to be quite a difference in price. Does anyone have any negative experience of using wood pellets with rubber matting?
