is wood pellet cat litter the same stuff use as wood pellet bedding? these are only kind i can find local to me that doesnt require me to order a pallet!
Whilst researching wood pellets, I came across Aquamax. As well as selling by pallet, they have stockists all over the country, from where you can buy as few or as many bags as you like.
You could try looking it up under fuel rather than horse bedding - it's the same stuff! I thought that the fuel quality stuff might be dustier, but a friend who installs the boilers that run off pellets explained that they are very sensitive to dust so the pellets have to be dust free.
Well I use my Liverpool wood pellets as cat litter, just wet them a little as I do for the horse and they really like them.
It would cost you a fortune to use cat litter, far more expensive than using the wood pellets.
LWP do 250k for £109 if you want not too many. I personally buy a ton for £220 and they take up little room - less than eight bales of shavings would. LWP do smaller amounts, but then the cost goes up greatly.
I use wood pellets and order by the ton - as some one else said they hardly take up any room. I also burn them in my wood burner as they give out loads of heat
