I’ve just switched over to wood pellets after 18 years of shavings!
The reason for the change was to save mucking out time! The horses are usually in overnight November-March/April time. I deep litter the bed.
Anyway, I’m removing the poo (I’ve used a shavings fork and tried with gloves too) but where she walks around and breaks up the poo there are thousends and thousends of tiny, tiny pieces of poo in the bed! I hate it so far which I am disappointed about as everyone raves about the pellets!
Am I doing something wrong? She’s been in there a week so far.
