Any tips on using any of the above type of bedding?

put in a decent amount to start with - wet it till it doubles/in size. Then add in a dry bag every week. stir it well. Don't try and deep litter take out any really wet patches daily and stir it well. To get the poo out if you have a messy horse - throw it against a wall. the poo will roll down and you can just pick it up. Make sure you have a fine shavings fork. Once your bed is established do not add more water to it. Just dry.

I've just started using Nature's Best and have been very pleased with it. I'm not finding deep litter practical but it is very absorbent so I'm just scooping out the really wet bits, stirring round the rest and then putting the bed back down. I really like it, very practical bedding

Brilliant, glad to hear you are pleased with it.
I am planning to use it on top of matting, so won't be putting down a hugely deep bed.
I'm looking forwards to the change over now!
