Like these ones. Anyone have (had) them? Am looking for a long boot (not nec. to ride in) that I can put on with ease before and after work to do the horses in - must have a generous calf fitting!! I've tried Muck boots and they cut my leg in 2, as the ones with a grippy sole (not the tyne riding ones) are too short on my calf!

The DH are crap, they arent waterproof! A friend of mine got the WW ones and fit well but thats not much help to you seeing as her legs are like beanpoles!

I have the WW ones! They are great because they fit to your leg shape/size!

They're only waterproff up to where the rubber runs out, then they are spalsh proof but not REALLY waterproof!

Def recommend them though, and you can ride in them (I keep mine now only to ride in) as they have a re-inforced bit at the side!

I've seen Harry Hall versions too but not sure what they're like/how much they are!

I would not bother with them they are RUBBISH ive gone through two pairs one sent from WW as a replacement, sole loses grip, rubber gets holes in then where the rubber stops the material rots. Mine lasted about 3 months

I dont ride in them just do yard things and always look after my boot. I wish they would make wider wellies cos my calfs are too big and thats why i wanted them. But you cant go wrong with the price.

Mine are brill. I have had them since November, I wear them everyday and ride in them. Lovely and warm and have not leaked. They are not totally waterproof but I wash mine off under the tap before getting in my car and they have not leaked. I would definatly get another pair.

Also think I started off a bit of a thing on our yard, quite a few people have them now.

I wear mine for riding, very warm and comfy. Not sure how well they'd stand up to everyday yard use, mine don't feel particularly though.

I bought a pair in Oct and I love em! They look vile but are soo warm

I work in them every day and they are comfy. DONT buy the chap ones as a girl at our yards split within 3 weeks!! I only bought them through recomendation on here after going through 2 pairs of Mountain horse field groom boots in a year which split both times

Robinsons kindly refunded me my money so they were if you like 'freebees'

Have a look at Robinsons own brand ones - we bought some of them a few years ago and they've come out each winter and done the job perfectly. They got dusted off again last week and wearing them every day again now. Very easy to get on, can adjust from thin to fatter leg (depending on how many trousers I put on), haven't split - and I'm mucking out all day and standing in the middle of the muck heap, and generally keep me very very warm. Can't remember how much we paid but don't think they were that dear. Surprised that they've lasted this long, because we usually get through muckers, etc. etc. on a monthly basis.

I have the woof wear long boot and can certainly recommend them and they sell really well in our shop.

Other companies sell a very similar style from £19.99 but you can tell the difference in quality.
