Anyone else got these? Can I have your reviews on them - particulalry how hard wearing they are and how well the yellow straps last - ie do they get stained if you go 'off road'?

Have just bought a set for autumn after my set of Mark Todd brushing boots died after only about 9 months use :( Was going to get the plain black ones (which we have used before and been happy with) but thought I may as well get the reflective ones - would just like to know how well the reflective bits stand up to mud and dirt and if they wash well.

Spicy pizza and wine on offer :) tis friday after all!

Will be keeping my eye on this thread! Thinking of getting my mare some of these, I use hi viz wraps over brushing boots at the moment but would be a lot quicker and easier to put these on instead (patience is not her greatest attribute!)

Shoestring Eventing on Facebook did a write up earlier this week and she's also on here (can't remember user name tho :o) Said they were brilliant.

The straps are plastic so the dirt comes straight off. The horse I ride has them, I don't know how old they are but one small bit of the strap has come off (not the actual strap, the plastic yellow "coating") and they are still visible and wash as well as normal Club boots. Horse wears his every day, for all riding.

Fab - just what I wanted to hear - I think what I was concerned about was mud getting between the plastic outer and the yellow bit that makes sense? cheers!

They're good. Can't remember how long I've had mine but they always come up good in the wash.

Fit is a problem for me but only because the Welsh Cob has so much bone but such short canons! He wears full size on the hinds and cob on the fronts

I have the Barnsby ones which are good as well - they're fluorescent and reflective. The yellow straps appear to lose their colour after what I'd deem as fair use (I've got a pair I bought BN which are still going strong but got another pair second hand which have lost their fluorescent look in most parts). Not tried the woof wears, but I have recently bought a pair of pink club WW, and they appear really short? My horse usually fits nicely into cob sized boots but I'm looking at having to get full in WW just for length?

I swear by WW Reflective Club Boots - i use them all year round for hacking and my current set are 2 years old, washed weekly and still as good as new. My last set lasted 5 years and were only replaced as I lost them when i moved yards. The wipe clean straps are great and being machine washable they come up like new, even from just a hose wash!
Would highly recommend.

I have had macs for about 5 years now, and they are still going strong. Been in washing machine a couple times, but generally, a bucket of water and a scrubbing brush on the mud, brings them up a treat.
