It's funny how nervous I was. :p
I haven't jumped in almost 5 months now and Beau is so powerful now that he's been schooled.

I ended up getting dad to pop a placing pole out and coming in trot. :D

I'm going to have to start at the beginning again and work my way back up to where we were before my fall but at least I've finally taken the first step and popped him over an x-pole. :)

sorry for the pointless post - I just wanted to share.
now, where did I leave my brave pants? :o

Well done! I hope to start popping my lad over some poles soon, I lost my nerve but we have just moved yards and the facilities are great, so hope to get my old mojo back, Enjoy your new found confidence:)

Good luck :)

We're in a similar situation - we moved a month ago and the new yard is great. There's always a course of jumps set up somewhere so you can just pop a few fences as part of your schooling session.

I'm having to learn how to ride the big man again. I've only ridden him three times since I broke my leg last year so I need lots of lessons to build up my confidence on him again. :o

Thanks guys :D

I'm currently drooling over a pair of patent-topped De Niro boots that are on sale at the moment. I'm so tempted to buy them then I will have to sort myself out and aim for my first BS with him sometime this summer :D
Wouldn't want them to go to waste. ;)
