I've been picked as one of 3 to take part in the lecture/demo he's doing at The Grange (one of 6 going on round the country)
He also asked if i'd mind him having a sit on Squeak.. eerrmmm, like you have to ask. hehehe

how did you manage that then!?!?!

Chris is excellent has a couple of lessons with him (improtu ones anyway) on the two trips I made to YRC a few years back. Made perfect sense and sorted my problems out (was on school horses not my own).

Best thing is although an eventer his dressage is also obviously superb from when he rode pure dressage and as a very good instructor (in my opinion) is almost the 'perfect instructor' for an eventer.

Wow how cool might have to get a ticket and come and watch. Will see if I can persuade my OH to come along.

Yeah, am thinking the same about the pics!! But that would mean relying on mum/dad to work the camera.. and that ain't gonna happen!!

*she says, looking at lec with a nice smile (if lec can make it)*

It's not at The Hand.. It's at The Grange = along way from you guys

Santa.. i only applied about a week ago.. but he only wants 3 people, and i'm guessing that they've already been picked... there's a thing all about it on the BE website...

Cool!! so pleased he called

Shame you are so bloody far away as would have loved to have come and supported you guys.

Keep me informed and make sure you get loads of pictures.

i think you having been rung today it unlikely there space left as you would think he would wait till as late as possible to choose and choose all at once! I may come down to watch though but depends on work! i'm normally lucky to get to the yard at 6pm on a good day at the moment as it is due to traffic!!

I went to see Chris on friday night at Rodbaston, it was brilliant came away with lots of ideas. I talked to him in the interval and got some great advice for me and Bud, and then i saw him at YH Live and had another quick chat with him, gave me loads of advice agian.

The first horse he spent ages with and had a sit on it he also did some work on the ground with it aswell all very interesting.
He only did a bit with jumping with couple horses together as he couldn't choose which one but he spent more time with the horses on the flat.
I am very envious you'll learn loads i'm sure, he talks alot to the crowd but does keep teaching too.
There wasn't a huge turnout but it was FREEZING, but i think well worth the cost.

Good luck look forward to hearing how it goes.

thats so exciting!!
