Wooo the grass is growing!

Our two winter paddocks which were completely brown (no green!) churned up mud and swamp like have been rolled and rested for a week or two and at the weekend i noticed the grass is growing!!

If you look across them they no longer look brown they have a green tinge

Lucky you. My mud swamp is rapidly disappearing under water following torrential rain last Friday, Saturday, yesterday, today and, according to the forecast, for the forseeable future. I'm beginning to despair of ever having grass again . . . . perhaps I should plant rice. However, it's an ill wind so the saying goes so - Springwatch update: I have millions of tadpoles in the "ponds" (nay, lakes) where the fields should be!
