After being dragged half way up the school a few weeks ago, when the quick release did not happen till after quite a time. Contacted MH and advised what had happened was asked if still had the box no I replied, had I read the information paper no have to say did not think I even noticed it well if I had would have seen that you have to keep an eye on the rubber depending on the weather how often you use them etc, if its hot or cold and so on.
Cut a long story short it was my fault for not checking them, and I do not want the same to happen to any of you, if like me you were not aware of this.

The advise was to make sure that they pull apart but not too much, if they are stiff then you must apply some vaseline, or saddle soap to help the lugs (black rubber bits) release, but again be carefull that they are not too loose. I am like a MAD WOMAN know checking them every time before I use them, please please do check your irons and make sure they are ok.

Just be aware if a change of the weather happens to hot or cold etc the rubber on the irons. :)
