OMG... I don't think I've ever seen a picture of a dog that thin and still alive!!! How can people let a dog get into that state, even if you can't afford to keep it hand it in somewhere!! Fingers crossed he makes a full recovery and finds some fabulous owners!

I'll never understand as long as I live. If you dislike dogs enough to do this to one, why not just NOT get a dog

I'm amazed he lived, he looks like he must have been days from his organs all shutting down.

Poor boy, he looks like the dog from 'Funnybones'.

I get my rescue Staffie tomorrow, she was this and totally hairless , sore and bleeding when she arived at rescue.

Poor little lad, how on earth is he still alive

Whilst trying to help rehome an older GSD I have been on a lot of the rescue webpages, some of the stories of the dogs on there are absolutely horrific. I was of course aware there was a huge number of GSDs needing rehoming, what I didn't realise is how many were abused. It as been a real eye opener to me.

I cant and never will understand how anyone can stand and see their dog looking like this. Its poor face is so full of love even after being teated like this. Having a boxer of a similar age i just cant bear looking at this poor dog it breaks my heart
