I'm furious

My pony is for sale on horsemart and I've put a nice picture of him on there. I've just had an e-mail from someone asking if is the right pony for the advert as there's the same picture used to describe 2 different ponies. I was a bit confused so I had a look and basically someone has used the picture of my pony on their advert!!!
Because their camera is broken and this is its double

Surely this can't be right?? I'm so angry!!
Just sent them a very shirty e-mail and e-mailed horsemart too

Think people can get into big trouble for using other peoples photographs. Think you own the copyright of your own photo. I would be furious if this happened to me.

Thats has to be breaking the law, they do not "own" that picture there fore dont have the copyright on it surely.

Id be inclined to ring the number and "enquire" about the pony and find out more.

OMG that is awful, who in their right mind would do that? I think it must happen quite a lot though, if you are a regular browser on horsemart you quite often see same horse different advert!! Lovely pony though, just wish I was small enough to have a go!!!

It's ashame that there's not really a foolproof way of making it so people can't thief your photos.

Seem to be a lot of photos which aren't the property of the user. Was surprised to see me on there a bit back when doing my usual which horse can I not buy today browse.

Problem is you can still take a screen capture and copy pics that way if you really want to.

Not heard a peep from the other seller or Horsemart but the picture has gone from the other ad, so at least thats been done.
