I've always thought that in the same way that horses don't have ambition, horses don't actually care if you're wearing old clothes to ride them. They care how you ride them, not what you look like

One of my favourites was in Niamhy's signature when she was more active on here "What's in the brain, goes down the reins"

Another one is:

"There is no 'one size' fits all approach to horses, they are all individuals"

Another one from the Tom Roberts' book, The Young Horse, is that you have to show the horse that:

"This will profit you, this will profit you not."
