Ok so shhuuuusshh don't tell anyone but I am soon to qualify as a lawyer at a magic circle international firm and am thinking of giving up my job and moving into something else problem is I have no idea what! Can anyone recommend a job/career/profession that gives a work/life balance to have the time to ride my beloved gee gee but also pays enough to be able to afford him - I live in London so keeping a hores here is never cheap. Are there any jobs in horses that pay decent money? Any thoughts really gratefully received - I am bashing my head against a wall

Let me know if you find out! I'm just under 2 years ahead of you, and haven't found the answer! Decided that being a lawyer isn't for me, just not sure what is!

I'm a groom but I'd love to be a lawyer. I've got a feeling I'd have been a good one (probably wrong though!) and I wish I'd thought of it when I was doing my A-levels and had no direction at all so I did horses instead of uni. I love my job but I wish I had a job I loved that also paid well cos I love money too.

I work for the local authority, ok money (but not as much as a laywer is suspect). Advantage is that i work flexi time and can work from home which saves lots of time travelling and getting presentable (can sit at computer in jodhs). Downside is that I still have to do 37hrs and can only work from home if no meetings to attend etc.. so only 1 or 2 days a week at the most, but it all helps. Would love not to have to work or only work part time but couldn't afford life if i didn't. Sorry not much help guess I am trying to say is I suppose most of us have these problems.
