This could get very long so I apologise in advance.
I bought the Welsh Cob 4 years ago as an unbroken rising 3yr old. He is my first horse, my dream horse and everything I always wished for, so you can guess he means an awful lot to me!
Anyways, I am joining the police force, only in a community support officer role but hopefully I will move onto PC in time. So till now I have done everything myself...in fact I don't like other people doing my horse for me because they never do things how I want (I know thats not the case but its just how I feel). But I have to now face facts that I may not be able to do as much as I do with the Welsh Cob...so mum and I were discussing part loans.
Frankly I hate the idea, because I don't want to share my dream that I work so hard to keep. I know that makes me selfish but I can't help again its just how I feel. I want to wait until I am in new job to see how I manage and then if I have to consider extra help do so then.
I don't really know where this is going, I guess I'm hoping everyone will say no don't get a sharer keep him for yourself, but I know that will probably not happen & sooner or later I will have to face up to the fact that I can't do it alone anymore.
OK, so is anyone else as selfish as me?
Does anyone else work in the police (or similar) and keep their horse on DIY?
