Work experience. Help!

As part of my course I have to do 5 weeks work experience next spring. We need to know where we want to go fairly soon as it all needs to be sorted by Christmas. Problem is - I have no idea where to go!

Any ideas/suggestions? (Ideally I'd like to stay in the NE so even if I live in I'll be able to get home to see my beasties occasionally!)

I'd also be really interested to hear anyone's experiences in different types of placements as I haven't even made up my mind about what type of place I want to go to yet! Eek.

An HND in equine management.

umm, is there a particular sphere of equestrianism you particularly follow? or a particular rider? i can think of loads of people i'd love to go to, tbh.
