Work Experience Nightmare - Suggestions Please

Hello guys, over Summer my course requires me to do 8 weeks work experience.
I had a place at my local vets but they at the last minute let me down. I'm so upset! Finding work experience is hard enough as it is, why accept someone and then tell them they're fully booked?
Rant over.
So, my question is does anyone know of any science related work experience I could do in Essex? Am willing to travel as I drive. Am an Equine Science Hartpury college student.
I would like to work within either reproduction or nutrition but any other science related work experience suggestions are welcomed are appreciated!

nemmarket equine hospital would be awesome depends how far you want to travel
