Work Experience- which of these eventers?

Ok, so i have responses from this lot:
Chris King, Nick Gauntlett, Gill Watson, Emily Baldwin and Jo Aston
It is for work experience for 2 weeks, so who do you think is the best to go for?
Experiences please- good and bad!

Chris King is very nice, I know one of his grooms and she says such lovely things about him. Think he would be great to have work experience with.
 
Nothing, then he'll definitely take you on.

On a serious note, i wouldn't go with Gauntlett. Have heard good things about Chris King, dunno who the others are.. are you limited to an area? Because Austin and Kathryn O'Connor always take work experience folk on and i'd recommend them.

no not limited to area, just they are near me.. and not sure whether i stay at theres or not?
also if i don't then i can still ride my horse in the evenings as not sure if i can take him with me...?

I thought from a training point of view Nick was excellent, and Mary King had bought Emily along to the session I was in so frankly he must know his stuff and be well thought of as a trainer.

However, his reputation round here (he's just up the road from me) is very mixed to say the least, and unless I wasn't mad keen on a horse, he wouldn't be my first choice of eventer to send one to.

Chris King is v nice, Gill Watson would be a good person to know I think and clearly is highly respected.

How long is it for and what do you want to get out of it?

It is for 2 weeks, i want to be a vet so it is for that, but also because i am hoping to learn a lot of things from them, even if it is just through watching them ride... erm so basically to learn as much as possible!
I am already nervous about the interview.. what will he make me do?
Does anyone know whether i would stay there? and about my horse? i think taking him would be pushing my luck.. a lot!
 
Chris is very nice and Zanie's stable management is super having been with Pippa. Austin is of the work hard play hard school and is a good person. Nick hasn't the best reputation. Gill's knowledge is excellent and she is used to sharing it with others.

I think by your responses i should go with chris or austin?
also in someone elses post Will someone? can't find him on google lol, anyone got a contact for him?
 
I'm a newbie and this is my 1st post/reply... stay away from NG, know him and what goes on with staff etc... wouldn't reccomend him for training of either horse or rider certainly wouldn't let him ride my horses.
