I have come to a conclusion this week that in the summer season I am not going to show my cob as everything is so expensive deasel time on the road this is affiliated by the way get to shows some judges can't even ride properly !! I do hunt in the winter and this costs me £650 has anyone else had a change of outlook with cost, it seems to be getting worse. I can afford what I do but am not prepaired to get myself in dept like my friends as I still wan't a reasonable life.

You can do workers now on a day ticket wtihout having to join the BSHA. You just need to have a height certificate. £15 per day I think for up to 2 days per season. The only classes you need to be a full member for (horse and rider) are the HOYS and RIHS qualifiers. Novice, amateur, maxi and workers can be on the new day ticket.

Without The company paying for our vehicle and for diesil ( we pay tax !!) we would not be able to compete as we have a young family, bills etc, but manage it on a budget by taking our own food planning our journey well, and pre purchase catalogue vouchers etc as every penny counts, we very often take little cash with us, as we pay for everything prior togetting there, so it is managable just stay away from the stalls !!
