Hi I'm new to this forum and thought this would be the best place to post my quiery

I was just wondering what everyone new about working cockers? I have searched the internet with not much luck but basically understand that they are very active bouncy dogs and look very different to normal cocker spaniels!
Does anyone know anything more about the breed that they would like to let me know?

I have a cocker bred from the working strain! They have longer legs, slightly shorter ears, longer muzzles than the 'show' types, plus slightly less hair.

Superbly active and intelligent but willful with it! We are inseperable, she is so loyal.

Yes we have one and I am looking for a clone as he is now 11. They are absolutely delightful. Easy to train and very jolly and friendly. Need plenty of exercise though unlike the 'show' type. We have had both and much prefer the working type. If you know of any litters due in NE England please let me know.......

Im in the SW too and own a black cocker...

my mum has the dad and they are lovely breeds...very friendly, sits with us all the time and mad too...loves sticks being thrown.
I tend to get my cocker to retreive things and that seems to work well...using treats once he brings the goods back to me :0)
Oh no puppies....!! dont tell me that, we love them and would have hundreds of cockers if we could...
