Hi all, I am mainly a showjumper, but have always loved the look/idea of working hunter classes. I have decided to take the plunge and do some classes this year. If I wanted to enter workers at the county shows, do I need to be a member of any societys? sorry if this is a dumbo question, but haven't got a clue about showing. I showjump upto about 1m-1.05m level affilliated, what sort of classes would be correct for me in workers? some of the workers tracks I have seen at county shows look huge!

Any advice really appreciated :)

If you are jumping 1.00m ish you should aim to go round some Novices at county level first.
For Novices sometimes you don't need to be registered.
You register yourself and your horse with SHB (GB), also your horses passport has to be overstamped.

When you get brave, there is a sort of Intermediate class called Restricted, not as big as Open, that you can do.

I'm in a mad rush to go and feed, but PM me if you have any questions x
