My 14hh pony has done 1.10m HOYS, BSPS, RI, and so much in her past life. I've had her for a year and we're starting to do 90cm sj/xc now and this weekend and also in a couple of weeks we have two shows where I'll be doing my first working classes at 75cm.
I'm so nervous !! She used to run out as I was a poor rider on her but now we're getting somewhere and she very rarely knocks a pole...and it's more in 65cm courses and smaller jumps she's likely to knock one!
So, I've sorted what I'm wearing etc etc. I've also sorted out my show. But how exactly does it work? To go 'clear' to go through for the second phase which is the show, do I have to have NO knock downs at all and no refusals? Full explanations would really be helpful. Thank you!!

You have your jump round first. It often depends how many clears etc... if you are called back in with a pole down etc...

Usually with working hunter, there is a ride judge as well as conformation sometime the same judge, sometime different judges. I would be surprised if you have to an individual show but expect to show a gallop as well as walking, troting and canter round with those who have been called back in.

There won't be a ride judge for ponies, you need to do a show, walk, trot, canter figure of eight and an extension, as already said you may get called back in even if you faulted depending on how many went clear so don't rush off if you have a pole down as they may want to see you back in for the next stage.
