Working Hunter Ponies: what's correct?

I own a 14.2hh Welsh B (he grew to big) and have entered a 14.2hh and under WHP class. Last year my sister one the same championships on the pony, but she had different kit (boots, hat ect.) I know most of the rules but was wondering if any one could help me with, firstly the show part and what to do, how long I should make it .....(if I go clear:)) and what type of boots woulds be acceptable (i am 13)?
Also if anyone had any general turnout tips I would be grateful, finally does anyone know a what pace you are meant to do the jumping?

Sorry keep remembering things, does anyone know if you are allowed to wear a green tweed jacket with navy collar and navy stock?

For the jump phase, martingales and dark colored boots are permitted, but boots must be removed before the flt portion. if you wear a martingale to jump, you keep it on for the flat. Jumping should be from a free and consistent canter, showing correct changes of leg within the gait rather than dropping back to trot as you may do at home.

You're a junior so you should be wearing brown short boots, tweed is correct for the class, and I think you'd get away with the collar/tie, but I'm not 100%. Canary or beige jodhs, with brown or tan gloves, you can wear a bp for jumping if you prefer to.

Bridle must be plain, no fancy browbands, numnah should match the saddle color, girth must also be dark, preferably a matching leather to the saddle.

Pony should have a plaited mane, tail should be pulled at the dock and cut to hock level when carried. Legs, ears, jawline and whiskers should be trimmed. Depending on pony's build, block quarter marks are acceptable, but only look good if you know what you're doing and the pony is well muscled.

For your show walk, trot and canter on each rein, show a gallop (not an all out cavalry charge, just an extension with full control!). In my youth I once showed extensions in trot, collection, and flying changes in canter, but was told these were superfluous, though that may just have been that judge.

Also just wondering I have a sheep skin numnar and also a sheep skin half pad, which would be better?
Also I find it hard to jump without chaps/gaiters would matching leather ones be acceptable?

Neither is particularly acceptable. What color is your saddle? If it's black you really ought to have a black closely cut numnah, if it's brown it ought to be brown, you can get them or £12.50 at Robinsons so it isn't really a big outlay for something you can use everyday.

Half pads are incorrect for WHP, so if you really had to use the sheepskin I'd stick with the numnah.

If it was a mixed class, horses and ponies, you might get away with the half chaps, but in a pony class I'd doubt it.
 
You. Tweed jacket, shirt and tie, cream or beige jods, short boots. My daughter would also have a small button hole.
Pony. Plaited, but as a native may go unplaited, pulled or tidily plaited tail, boots for jumping only, plain bridle, martingale, saddle same colour as bridle, dark girth and numnah. We have used a sheepskin numnah, has to be very clean and tidy though. Studs are useful if you have stud holes.
Keep your show short and sweet and controlled, try to get a nice gallop. No fancy stuff. You should ride at a nice 'hunting pace' so a good canter.
 
Thanks for the replys, my saddle is brown. I dont have stud holes as I have only been doing dressage, but the jumps are only 75-80cm I think, do you think that matters?
Sorry for the on going questions, but have you got any tips for getting a good gallop without lots of flapping?
