Trouble is he doesn't jump well in a pelham. But I am slightly concerned about group canter in the ring as he's a little.... Onward bound.

anything goes bit-wise in a workers class so I would go in your normal jumping bit, assuming you will be able to hold him in the group go-round.
I've won a workers class and been reserve with my horse in a universal so don't think you have to stick to a snaffle or Pelham.
