Working hunter turnout help!

Hi,

I want to give working hunter a go this summer (if I can get my jumping confidence up!) and am looking for turnout tips and advice please as am a complete showing novice!

I have a 14.1 grey connemara so am thinking of trying M&M also.

I know she will be unplaited for M&M but is this also the same for working hunter?

Would love to see pics for inspiration!

Depending on the show rules you may be limited in what classes are available, many WH classes are over 14.2 for horses only, under may have an age limit for ponies which if you are an adult will mean you cannot do them, M&M will not be restricted in the same way so you need to check the schedules carefully.
Turnout for a native pony in normal working pony classes can be unplaited although some people will choose to anyway.
Tweed jacket, shirt and tie, beige jods, long boots, gloves.

There are many m&m wh classes and at local level m&m’s in open wh classes are turned out as m&m’s so unplaited!

I think if you're showing as a M&M then the working hunter turnout for you would be the same.
