I'm hoping to have a go at some WH classes at local shows this year but don't really know what to expect, can anyone give me an idea? What sort of height would you say the jumps will be in a M&M class? Any tips would be much appreciated

At my riding club it is 2ft 3 for small breeds and 2ft 6 for large breeds. You could do the novice aswell.

All you do you go in jump the course of jumps, then you come out let the rest go and if you went round clear or they ask you to come back in then you go in and all walk trot canter and extend as a group sometimes you dont extend they just ask for it in the show, then when you are pulled out you stand up for judge show walk trot and canter and extend finish salute, and then hopefully they will pull you in. Some judges strip the horses and trot them up but at rc level they tend not to.

For BSPS M&M WHP, I jump 1m (3'3) with my large Welsh D. But depends on the height of your horse I think as it goes down. But for RC / unaffiliated, generally I find for M&M they're only 2'6.

Ideally go to a show first, then you can see how its done and see how they're turned out etc.
