Working hunter

Hi all. I am doing the 133cm novice working hunter class tomorrow. I need to know if I have to wear short boots or long boots? I originally thought it was short boots but my friend who is doing 143cm in a few weeks is required to wear long boots... Bit confused over this!

Short boots for 133 due to age of rider. Some of the riders in 14hh will be 16+, hence the long boots.
