I would love to try a working Hunter class - my horse has a settled curb that has never caused any issues - is that going to immediately cause us to lose marks conformationally?

A curb is a conformation defect so depends what level you want to compete. Local level shouldn't affect you. The higher you go, the more significant it will become

You will lose marks but tbh conformation is a relatively small % of your total mark so if you have a good jumper I would go for it.

Yes but you’ve got to jump clear and go well for the judge, the chances of the curb being the sticking point is probably not worth worrying about…!
