working in a stud farm?

I would like to work in a stud farm but I don't know how to start does anyone know of any courses I could do that would help me get a job in a stud farm? I know there is the national stud course in Newmarket but any others??

A friend of mine is doing an apprenticeship at the National Stud, it might be worth contacting them?

Good Luck!!! I started my career in one of the top studs in Europe had little experience with racehorses when i started as it was my first stud job and was completly surprised when i was offered the job but as long as you can work hard, dont mind long hours and our confident in handling horses/ youngsters its a great job especially the foaling
