Hi everyone, I made my account a really long time ago but haven't really used the forums yet, however I thought I'd come and ask for some advice and see what people say.
Last year my parents bought me a young, green 'project pony'. He's a beautiful little unbroken Connemara without a single fault, however he was rejected by his mother as a foal so he's quite feral and terribly afraid of humans. I know he is going to be a great horse with some work, you can tell he wants to investigate things and he's always curious about things. He will always follow me in the field but he won't come too close, and as soon as a human tries to touch him he gets quite scared. I'm taking my time with him and I plan to spend this summer working with him and gaining his trust but I was just wondering, does anyone have any tips or recommendations of activities I can try or things I can do? Thanks
