I have recently taken a yearling on loan. I already own a 11 year old IDX and lok after my mums 3 year old shetland.
I am fortunate in that the owner of the yearling is also my YO and will be able to help me out.
He is veyr nervous at the moment of strangers so is it enough at the moment to slowly build up his trust by giving him attention in thge stable and getting him sued to me being in the field with him. I gave him a few tit bits tonight and he seemed a bit mroe interested. I dont want to scare the living daylights out of him by expecting him to instantly be happy near me, but i dont want to have him confident and trusting me.
