Hi - Im not actually a horse owner. I work in countryside management for a not-for profit group, in the South East. Id like to advertise a workshop we have organised and subsisidised down here. We have been workig on projects to improve water infiltration into our aquifers. We are a very water stressed county and its only going to get worse. We are looking at different land management techniques and how they can improve soil/ pasture and water infiltration. Our workshop - healthy horse, healthy land is being led by Stuart Myers and his wife Jane, of Equiculture, who have a wealth of experience and is open to all and can be booked through event brite. I hope this is ok to advertise and would be interested in feedback on the topic.

I went on this last year at Fort Widley and can thoroughly recommend it! We had a fantastic day, learned loads and have already had results putting ideas into practise. It's well worth the drive, (Sparsholt College is actually really easy to get to, but having attended other events there, they are crap at directing you to where you are supposed to be, I ended up asking a student where this Can't-remember-it's-name- Hall was, and they'd never heard of it , so allow time to get lost on the site!) Honestly, go if you can, Stuart is brilliant!
